Greetings to all, this time I bring you a Tutorial about how to block an app from accessing to internet with Windows 10.
To block access to a program, we first have to go to the Search button, you can find it at home or in the taskbar (it’s the magnifying glass icon):
Search “Firewall” and click Windows Defender Firewall:
Once open, go to Advanced Settings:
We go to Inbound Rules and on the left we click New Rule:
We select in Program, we click on next:
Here we input the path of the program, we look for the main .exe file, once we have it, click on next:
And the most important, we click on Block the connection:
Check on Domain, Private and Public:
And we give it a name (and a description) to remember the new rule, click on Finish to confirm the changes:
Done, now we apply the same in Outbound Rules, we click on New Rule:
We select again Program, and click on next:
Input the path of the program again, we look for the same .exe file we look in Inbound rules, click on next:
We click again on Block the connection:
Check on Domain, Private and Public again:
Put the same name (and description) in outbound rule:
